Nicholas II Russian Roubles From the end of the Romanov era, these genuine Russian Rouble gold coins were originally minted in early 1900, and first escaped Russia during the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, only to barely survive the Nazi invasion of Norway. Russian Roubles were the treasures of the Last Czar of Russia, Nicholas II, who is pictured on each coin. When the Bolsheviks seized power over Russia in 1917, all reminders of the Czars were destroyed or defaced, including most surviving gold coins. Thankfully, these survived only because they were held in Norway's national treasury. These are guaranteed authentic Russian legal tender gold coins. The obverse of these historic gold coins features the portrait of Nicholas II, the last Czar of Russia, facing left, and the legend reads, "By God's Will, Nicholas II, Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia." The reverse displays the crowned, Russian imperial double-headed eagle, with shield on its breast, decorated with the image of St. George slaying the dragon, and the reverse legend gives the denomination and the date of issue. The edge of the coin is adorned with incuse Cyrillic lettering, giving the gold content in Russian. Each Russian 5 Rouble coin contains .1244 troy ounces, each 7.5 Rouble coin contains .1867 troy ounces and each 10 Rouble coin contains .2489 troy ounces of pure gold. Also available as certified collectible. Most examples are Brilliant Uncirculated
Dutch 10 Guilder, King Willem III The Dutch "King" contains nearly one fifth ounce net pure gold. Minted from 1875 to 1889, huge numbers of these beautiful coins have been melted down throughout history. An exceptional value at today's levels and an exceptional diversification within your holdings.
Dutch 10 Guilder, Queen Wilhelmina These last gold coins for commerce issued by the Netherlands were minted from 1911 to 1933. These 'Queens' provide an excellent value in both gold content and "numismatic." The specimens which we have seen over the past several years have been brilliant and outstanding. 20 Franc, Confederation Switzerland, historically neutral, has played a significant role in European politics. Located at the "Crossroads of Western Europe," Switzerland has kept its borders open to its neighbors even during times of war. 1883 - 1896. .1867 oz. of net pure gold.
20 Franc, Helvetia When you want to act like the big boys, you often consider Swiss francs (paper), annuities or bank accounts - why not just buy the "real thing?" One of the most recognized gold coins of the world was minted from 1897 to 1949, although we only recommend those struck prior to 1933. .1867 oz. of net pure gold.
